Thésée DataCenters inaugurates its first Tier IV data center outside Paris, France

Company plans six buildings and 30,000 sq ft of floorspace across three hectare campus.

Thésée DataCenters has inaugurated its first data center in Aubergenville, in the Yvelines area of France

The TDC01 facility, to the northeast of Paris, has 6,000 sqm (64,500 sq ft) of floorspace across two rooms. It has been certified Tier IV by the Uptime Institute.

Google buys plot of land in the Netherlands, may build data center on site in future

Google has bought a plot of land in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands.

The search giant has bought the last plot at the Hoogebrug Winschoten business park in the municipality of Oldambt, and may build a data center on the currently-vacant site in the future.
